Bearfruit workshop - The forgotten tea party.

It's been an honor for me to be able to participate with a 4 weeks workshop. Working with illustrator Mas and many like-minded people from different walks of life. Installing me with many different views about illustration. ^^

The workshop's awesome!

And also ending off the whole workshop with a small exhibition in the national library

Depicting a grown up girl having an imaginative tea party with her old rugged teddy bear she found. She remembered the fun she used to have with her favourite teddy bear and along with many of the familiar toys that were once a big part of her life.

There are many things that we have forgotten as we grew older in the complicated and comparative society. Many of these are the seemingly simple things in our life and we are usually feeding it with the thought that they were redundant as we got older. However it was those little things that gave us joy in our simple young life. We have just forgotten how to let ourselves loose and have fun with our imaginations. Sometimes we just forgot how lucid fun could be.

With this art piece, I hope someone could take a closer look and find something familiar and dear to them, hoping that a sense of nostalgic would flow into them as they start to discover the forgotten and also the joy of reminisce
